An exclusive report from 90min has revealed that Manchester City are considering an audacious double swoop worth more than £100 million for Borussia Dortmund pair Erling Haaland and Giovanni Reyna in the summer.

While the links between Erling Haaland and Manchester City are nothing new, Reyna’s name is only now being thrown into the mix.

Haaland’s success has been well documented. His 43 goals in 43 games is a nearly unheard of number for a 20 year-old striker. And with Manchester City looking to re-tool their centre forward line in anticipation and expectation of Sergio Aguero’s career at the Etihad winding down, the Norwegian phenom has reportedly become the Premier League club’s number one priority,

Reyna on the other hand, is more of a raw talent than his Norwegian counterpart, but a talent nonetheless. At only 18 years-old, the American has cemented himself as a regular first team player in a Borussia Dortmund side overflowing with attacking talent. In 31 appearances, the attacking midfielder has four goals and six assists.

Interestingly, the fathers of both players are former Manchester City players in their own right. One must believe the familial connection to club could help their cause in getting these signings over the line.
