Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola insists he's pleased with the form of Gabriel Jesus.

Guardiola says he has every confidence the goals will soon start flowing again for Gabriel Jesus – and has praised the striker's vital overall contribution to the City cause.

“Yeah, he will do it soon (score). I see him every day and I love him so much what he does," Guardiola declared.

“One of the reasons we concede so few is exclusively for him.

“I want his goals, but his contribution is the best striker in the world at doing things any other striker can do for the team. Regaining the ball, pressing high, opponent 18 yards box - he helps us to do it."
