Man City boss Guardiola: We can't stop with Burnley thrashing

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola isn't getting carried away after their 5-0 win over Burnley.

Instead, he has challenged his players to put together a winning run in the Premier League.

City were excellent against the Clarets and became the first side since Notts County back in 1907 to record four successive home games by at least a five-goal margin against the same opponent.

With City now qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League with two games to spare, Guardiola wants to see his players focus on domestic affairs until February and improve the situation still further.

"It's just one game," he said.

"We will see if we can continue in the next games.

"It was a good victory. In the Champions League we are already qualified, so the target until February is the Premier League."
