Man City boss Guardiola set to win battle for more Carabao Cup substitutions
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is set to win his fight to introduce more substitutes in the Carabao Cup.
The Citizens coach prefers to significantly rotate his team for cup matches, and believes that limiting subs to only three in the League Cup is a mistake.
According to the Daily Mail, Guardiola pushed his club to lobby the EFL to change the rules for the rest of this season's competition.
13 of the 16 teams remaining in the tournament agree with Guardiola and would support such a change.
The EFL now have City's written thoughts on the matter, and the EFL will attempt to sort out the matter before the next games on October 26th and 27th.
