Manchester City and Liverpool have joined Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle in expressing interest in signing Wolves winger Pedro Neto.

Wolves face a fight to hold onto the services of the Portugal international in the summer as the Premier League’s wealthiest clubs line up bids to sign the 24-year-old.

Neto has had an impressive season under Gary O’Neil, recovering from the injury problems of recent campaigns to reemerge as one of the Premier League’s best wide players.

He has two goals and nine assists in 19 league appearances this season and his form has sparked interest from teams towards the top of the table.

Arsenal are long-term admirers and are keen to sign a winger to provide competition for Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, though the Gunners face significant competition.

Manchester City and Liverpool have now joined the race to sign Neto, according to The Telegraph, while both Spurs and Newcastle have been linked of late.

Wolves will demand a record sale to part with the winger at the end of the campaign, with a fee in excess of the £53 million that took Matheus Nunes to Manchester City last summer.

Wolves sold Nunes, Ruben Neves and Nathan Collins for significant sums last summer and are in a stronger negotiating position this time around. Neto is contracted at Molineux until 2027.
