Man City ace Torres proud of hat-trick

Manchester City ace Ferran Torres admits they're focusing on the Champions League final after last night's win at Newcastle.

The Spain international plundered a treble in Friday night's thrilling 4-3 Premier League victory at Newcastle to send the champions 13 points clear of arch-rivals Manchester United at the top of the table.

Torres told the club's official website: “The last games of the season should help us to get ready for the final. I think it could be the icing on the cake.

“We are going to try to do it to wrap up an unforgettable season."

He added: “Obviously, I'm very, very happy. It's been an amazing week for us, qualifying for the Champions League final, winning the Premier League and today I got lucky and I scored a hat-trick."
