Man City accept offer from interim Barcelona board for Garcia

Barcelona and Manchester City have an agreement in place this month for Eric Garcia.

Mundo Deportivo says despite Barca's presidential election to be held on January 24, the interim board has agreed a deal with City where Garcia will return to the club by the end of the month.

Garcia is off contract in June, but wanted immediately by Barca coach Ronald Koeman.

City have accepted an offer of €5m up front plus a further €5m due in bonuses based on appearances and success. The initial fee will be paid later in the calendar year.

Garcia, meanwhile, has long agreed personal terms with Barca, having pushed to leave City last summer.
