Ola Solbakken could be on his way back to Scandinavia after a disastrous season of loan experiences outside of the Italian capital.
The Norwegian forward seems to be on the verge of concluding his brief and unsuccessful spell with the Giallorossi after joining Roma as a free agent in December 2022.
With three more years left on his contract, Roma are looking to sell Solbakken in the upcoming summer window.
This season the Norwegian striker spent it on loan first at Olympiakos, then in Japan with Urawa Reds. Now he is back in the capital, but he could return to Scandinavia.
As reported by Swedish news portal gasetten.se, Malmo are eyeing Solbakken as a new signing.
After bringing in his former Bodo teammate, Botheim, from Salernitana, Malmo may be closing in on another signing from Italy’s top flight.
