Malcom has been sounding the alarm for Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir ahead of the Champions League second leg.
The 25-year-old Frenchman was suspended for the first match in France, which finished without a goal, but is available for selection for Lyon on Wednesday.
Barcelona’s Brazilian winger may be relied on after Ousmane Dembélé picked up a knock against Rayo Vallecano.
Malcom went on French television programme Téléfoot to discuss the upcoming tie and his opponent’s danger-man.
“Fekir is a big player, and when I was in France, he scored incredible goals,” he said. “It will be more difficult with him [in the side].”
Malcom spent two seasons in France playing for Bordeaux and became familiar with Lyon’s Fekir then.
The Barça winger has not yet started in Champions League but has made two appearances off the bench, scoring once so far.
The Catalan giants have the potential to win three competitions this season; Champions League, LaLiga, and Copa del Rey.
“We want to win the hat-trick, we’re going to work for it, it’s the best team, the best players, Lyon has good players,” the former Corinthians attacker said.
“I think that if we do our job, well, we’ll pass.”
