Malcom is reportedly being given one last chance to impress Ernesto Valverde on Wednesday or risks being sold by Barcelona in January.

The 21-year-old signed from Bordeaux over the summer in a controversial move that saw Roma – the side who thought they’d got the player  – accuse Barça of unethical practises in the transfer market.

The Blaugrana gazumped the Italian side right at the last minute for the attacker with a bid of €45m and it’s been downhill at Camp Nou ever since.

So far he’s played just 25 minutes, but it’s been revealed that Malcom will start in their Copa del Rey clash against Cultural Leonesa on Wednesday.

And it really will be make or break for the youngster, with Barcelona all but ready to listen to offers.
