The MLS transfer market remains busy as we head into the start of preseason for the league's clubs.
From confirmed deals to big-name rumors, here is all the major transfer news surrounding MLS in the last few days.

MLS upstarts San Diego FC are said to be 'on the shortlist' for Belgian superstar Kevin De Bruyne should he leave Manchester City this summer.
The Athletic have reported that De Bruyne would prefer a move to MLS over the Middle East, and California is among his 'preferred destinations'.
San Diego currently have just one Designated Player, Mexican winger Chucky Lozano, giving them plenty of wiggle room to bring in a big-money star to kick-start life in MLS.

Toronto FC are reportedly 'working towards' a departure for star forward Lorenzo Insigne, Tom Bogert reported over the weekend.
The Italian has bagged 28 goal contributions in 56 MLS games for Toronto, but the Canadian outfit have not qualified for the MLS Cup Playoffs of in any of his 2.5 seasons at the club.

Sporting KC forward Alan Pulido is reportedly set for a move back to Chivas after a four-year stint in Kansas City, as per reports from insider César Luis Merlo.
In his first spell with Chivas, Pulido was named Liga MX MVP during the Clausura-winning 2017 campaign, but has failed to truly hit the same heights for Sporting KC.
He scored 14 goals in 28 league games in 2023 and was crowned MLS Comeback Player of the Year after recovering from knee injury.

Montréal have made moves for LA Galaxy and former USMNT defender Jalen Neal, plus New England Revolution striker Giacomo Vrioni, confirming the deals on Monday and Tuesday respectively.
Neal is largely viewed as one of the best defensive prospects in MLS, and has already made 45 appearances in all competitions at a senior level after making the leap to the senior team.
Meanwhile, Vrioni joined New England from Juventus in 2023, and bagged 12 goals and three assists in just over 2,500 minutes across all competitions last season.
Montréal have now acquired Neal, Vrioni, Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty, and Caden Clark in the last two transfer windows, plus all of their Designated Player slots remain open.

San Diego FC have continued on with a busy transfer window ahead of their inaugural campaign, signing former Inter Miami midfielder Franco Negri to a one-year contract.
The Argentine made made 32 appearances with the south Florida club, winning the 2023 Leagues Cup and securing a Supporters Shield in 2024.

Argentine giants Boca Juniors have been linked to FC Dallas starlet Alan Velasco, according to César Luis Merlo.
The 22-year-old has struggled since suffering a ligament injury, and only featured eight times in MLS in the 2024 campaign.
Despite that, Velasco remains one of the highest rated young attackers in the Americas, and Boca could reportedly splash up to $11 million for him after having an initial, lower bid rejected.
