Madeleine Steck to remain at Eintracht
German U20 international Madeleine Steck wants to take her next step in the top flight this season after signing a two-year contract extension.
Eintracht Women defender Madeleine Steck has renewed her contract with the club for another two years until 2024. “I’m very pleased about the contract extension,” said the 20-year-old. “I think everyone knows how happy I am here in Frankfurt. I’m therefore very grateful to continue being a part of the team and such a cool club. I’ve settled in very well over the past few years and now I want to take the next step and get more playing time in the Bundesliga. I’m happy to get the chance and the confidence to do that here.”
“Madde has developed magnificently in recent years,” added head coach Niko Arnautis. “She has played a lot of games in Women’s Bundesliga 2 and has been a key part of our second team’s success. Madde has a great passing game, superb technique and is a strategist who can influence the build-up out of defence. She’s on a really great path, so we’re very pleased that she has extended her contract and will continue her journey here with us.”
