On Sunday, Tottenham Hotspur will face Brentford at Gtech Community Stadium, with aspirations of claiming a victory in the first match of their upcoming Premier League season. Spurs come into the match on the back of a disappointing defeat against
Ange Postecoglou would probably opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to the starting XI for this Premier League contest. James Maddison could start as an advanced attacking midfielder, while Son Heung-Min starts in the left-wing position.
Defence
Guglielmo Vicario will continue to function in goal for Spurs after failing to keep a clean sheet in a 4-2 defeat against Barcelona. Christian Romero and Ben Davies will form the centre-half partnership to stop the opposition from causing problems throughout the game.

Pedro Porro will look to impress on the right flank, while Destiny Udogie looks to put in a productive performance as the left back. Both of them will need to work hard at both ends of the field if Tottenham are to come out on top in this fixture.
Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez will take a spot on the bench as they offer cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Yves Bissouma and Olivier Skipp will anchor the midfield for Spurs as they try to establish dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park. While James Maddison is handed his debut for the North London outfit in the Premier League. He would play as an attacking midfielder which best suits his role.
Giovani Lo Celso and Pape Matar Sarr will provide cover for the midfield as they take a spot on the bench.
Attack
Heung-min Son will start on the left wing, while Dejan Kulusevski starts on the right flank. Richarlison will spearhead Tottenham’s attack up top, fancying his chances of finding the back of the net.
Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic will provide cover from the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the attacking third.
