Despite the constant speculation surrounding top players, Mac Allister has made it clear he has no intentions of leaving. His admiration for Liverpool, both as a club and a collective unit, remains unwavering.
Speaking about his future and the unity within the squad, he expressed his appreciation for the special atmosphere at Anfield:
“It’s a really special club,” the 26-year-old said.
“When you are at a big club, normally there are a lot of egos or that kind of thing. But in this club, everyone can see the unity and connection. I’m really, really happy to be here, and hopefully (I have) many, many more years to come.”
Mac Allister’s desire for success remains undiminished. Having tasted glory with Argentina at the 2022 World Cup, he is determined to replicate that feeling with Liverpool. The hunger for trophies continues to drive him, with the Premier League and Champions League firmly in his sights.
“After the World Cup, I realised how good it feels to win something like that. For me, it was the proudest moment of my career so far, and I want to feel that again. I know if I win the Premier League or Champions League I will feel it again. That’s why I am here. That’s why I feel this team has the ambition to win those kind of things.”
Mac Allister’s commitment, coupled with his exceptional performances, ensures Liverpool remain well-positioned to challenge for major honours. His presence in the squad offers a significant boost to Slot’s ambitions, and fans can rest assured knowing that one of their key players is here to stay.
