Speaking to the press after his side’s 2-2 draw with Bordeaux yesterday, Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes was clear in voicing his frustration at Les Gones‘ performance.

His words transcribed in RMC Sport, the Portuguese international nevertheless insisted that his team now need to look ahead to the next few games in order to get to the winter break with some positive momentum.

“I feel anger and sadness, a mix of completely negative feelings. We were in front, we led 2-1, we had done the hard part. We get pegged back at 2-2 and we very nearly lose the game in the end.”
