As reported by Canal+, Lyon have turned down a substantial offer from an English club for attacking midfielder Lucas Paquetá. The 24-year-old Brazilian has excelled in a variety of positions since joining OL in summer 2020 and finished third in this year’s GFFN100.
A club currently in the top 5 of the Premier League have been sufficiently impressed to offer more than €60m for the Brazil international. But the bid was turned down by both Lyon and the player.

Having recently stated how happy he is in Lyon, Paquetá is expected to stay put this month with deadline day impending.
In 59 OL games to date, the midfielder has produced 18 goals and 11 assists across all competitions.
