According to L’Équipe, Olympique Lyonnais are targeting Graham Potter as a potential replacement for their under-pressure coach Laurent Blanc. The French publication previously reported that if Lyon lost to PSG, the former France boss’ position at the Groupama Stadium could be in jeopardy. Following Les Gones’ hefty 4-1 defeat, Lyon are now looking into potential replacements.

Graham Potter has been unemployed since he was sacked by Chelsea in April 2023. L’Équipe reports that the former Brighton head coach had an interview with OL owner John Textor on Tuesday and he is now one of the names under contention to succeed former PSG coach Laurent Blanc. The former Chelsea manager is thought to be interested in the project at the Groupama Stadium.

Nice have previously targeted Graham Potter to become their new head coach and the former Swansea coach was reportedly receptive to joining the club, but a move to Ligue 1 never materialised. However, a move to Ligue 1 could now potentially be back on the table. Lyon are also reportedly considering Reims manager Will Still as well as two unnamed foreign coaches to be Blanc’s potential successor.
