Lyon are off to a flying start in their Women’s Champions League group stage opener.

The French side have blown the doors off Slavia Prague, heading into half-time with a stunning lead.

Goals from Sara Däbritz, Daniëlle van de Donk, Vanessa Gilles, Eugénie Le Sommer, and Kadidiatou Diani saw Lyon race out to an unassailable lead inside 30 minutes.

In the process, Lyon became the fastest team to take a three-goal lead in a UWCL group stage game, taking them just 17 minutes.

Diani later fired home her second of the night to make it 6-0 just before the break to equal the competition record at half-time in a group stage game.

At this rate, they could post a score never before seen in Champions League football!
