Lyon reignite interest in Villarreal’s Arnaut Danjuma

According to a report by Foot Mercato, Olympique Lyonnais are set to reignite their interest in former target Arnaut Danjuma (27). The forward had been a key aim for the club during the winter transfer window but a complex deal involving convincing Everton FC to cancel their loan meant that Lyon eventually moved on from the transfer.

However, with Lyon focused on trying to challenge on all fronts this season, the club are trying to reinforce their squad. Foot Mercato writes that Lyon want to open a discussion with Villarreal where they will propose a loan agreement with an option to purchase. However, they face stiff competition in trying to secure his signature.
