Lyon will be hoping to carry momentum into Ligue 1 after an impressive victory against Lille in the Coupe de France. However, Montpellier will be hoping to stunt their progress as they travel to the Stade de la Mosson.
L’Équipe report that Lyon are set to make 6 changes from their Coupe de France victory against Lille. The first of these changes will be in goal, with Lucas Perri dropped after an impressive debut showing as Anthony Lopes returns between the sticks.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles is set to drop to the bench with Clinton Mata reinstated from the start. There should also be one change in midfield with Nemanja Matić preferred to Corentin Tolisso. A new-look attack should also form with three changes. Alexandre Lacazette and Ernest Nuamah should start from the beginning, with Saïd Benrahma also making his Ligue 1 return.
Anthony Lopes – Clinton Mata, Duje Caleta-Ćar, Jake O’Brien, Nicolás Tagliafico – Nemanja Matić, Maxence Caqueret, Orel Mangala – Saïd Benrahma, Alexandre Lacaxzette, Ernest Nuamah.
