Lyon legend Amandine Henry departs after 16 years

Olympique Lyonnais have confirmed the departure of Amandine Henry on Thursday.

The midfielder joined in 2007 and, throughout her 16-year career, became one of the club’s legendary players helping dominate France and Europe.

The 33-year-old made 354 appearances wearing the white kit and became the third-most-capped player in history.

One of her best moments was scoring the opening goal in the Women’s Champions League final against Barcelona in 2022.
