Lyon have announced that Peter Bosz will become the new manager of the club on a two-year deal.
The 57-year-old will take over after Rudi Garcia left his position last week following the conclusion of the Ligue 1 season.
Garcia had led Lyon to fourth position in Ligue 1, meaning they will play in the Europa League next season after missing out on Champions League qualification on the final day.
Bosz has been available following his recent dismissal from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
The Dutchman has also had spells in charge of Ajax and Borussia Dortmund, leading the Eredivisie side to the Europa League final in 2017 where they lost 2-0 to Manchester United.
