True False

Cook, 31, has appeared 12 times in the Premier League this season, however, he has not featured in the last six league matches.

The verdict

It is no secret that the Hatters have been seeking a defensive reinforcement this month and Cook could be the perfect fit for Rob Edwards.

Not only does he possess excellent levels of defensive resilience and experience, he can also play the ball out from the back and has the athleticism to thrive in the Championship.

The Hatters, who could go third in the Championship with a comprehensive victory against Cardiff City this evening, will be hoping to get a deal over the line to bolster their chances of making the play-offs.

In what was a very quiet month at Kenilworth Road up until late last week, it is set to be a very busy ending to it all.
