Queens Park Rangers midfielder Luke Amos has taken to Instagram to share a message with the club’s supporters following his side’s latest display in the Championship.
Amos helped his side secure all three points in their showdown with Derby County by scoring what turned out to be the winning goal at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
The midfielder had an effort ruled out for offside in the opening stages of this clash as both teams looked to break the deadlock.
Luke Plange headed an effort against the crossbar before Nathan Byrne blocked an effort from Lyndon Dykes.
Following the break, Derby goalkeeper Ryan Allsop denied Ilias Char and Dykes.
With the game seemingly drifting towards a draw, Amos was teed up by Dykes and produced a composed effort to beat Allsop.
Tom Lawrence was shown a second yellow card in stoppage time as Derby failed to respond to Amos’ strike.
QPR moved to within three points of the play-off places as a result of this victory and will be aiming to keep their hopes of securing a top-six finish alive this weekend when they face Stoke City in the Championship.
Following this win, Amos opted to share a message on Instagram.
The midfielder posted: “Another goal and back to winning ways.

The Verdict
After losing five of their previous six league games, QPR desperately needed to get back on track yesterday in order to remain in play-off contention.
Whereas it could be argued that the R’s will need to win all of their remaining fixtures in order to extend their season past the 46 game mark, their triumph over Derby may provide them with some much-needed momentum heading into their clashes with Stoke, Sheffield United and Swansea City.
Amos will fancy his chances of making a difference in these fixtures after scoring three goals in his last four appearances for QPR.
As well as finding the back of the net in yesterday’s clash, Amos managed to complete 84.4% of his passes and made three successful dribbles against the Rams as he recorded a WhoScored match rating of 7.50.
