Lazio are keeping tabs on RB Salzburg prospect Luka Sucic but they’re not alone, with a number of top European clubs also keen.
The Croatian teenager exploded onto the scene in Austria last season following his move to the Red Bull affiliated side, making 37 first team appearances across all competitions. Luka Sucic has scored 13 goals and provided six assists in 70 first team appearances for RB Salzburg, proving himself to be one of the most talented youngsters in Europe.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Lazio have been keeping an eye on Sucic for months now as they consider him a possible replacement for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who seemed destined for the jump to a top club this summer.
Things have fallen quiet for the Serbian star in recent weeks and no serious offers have arrived, so there is a chance that he could remain part of Maurizio Sarri’s squad for the near future. Should this be confirmed, the Roman club would focus on other targets.
The 19-year-old Sucic is valued at around €10 million and is contacted to RB Salzburg until 2025. Several clubs are following him closely, including Juventus, Milan, Inter, Manchester United and Liverpool, but none have made concrete a move yet.
