Chatter regarding the plans of Real Madrid for both Modrić and Vázquez has of course long been in widespread circulation across the Blancos’ fanbase.

This comes with both players, as things stand, due to see their contracts come to an end in the summer.

The Spaniard and Croatian played their respective parts on Wednesday night, as Carlo Ancelotti’s side were sent packing from the Champions League at the hands of Arsenal.
