Neymar returned to action in style on Sunday afternoon before sharing a joke about his future with Luka Modrić.

Following a three-month absence, the Paris Saint-Germain forward came off the bench to give Brazil the lead in their 2-0 defeat of Croatia.

After the match, he was filmed swapping shirts with Croatia and Real Madrid midfielder Modrić, who can be heard telling the Brazilian “we’re waiting for you”, bringing a smile from Neymar.

Neymar has been repeatedly linked with a move to Real Madrid after just one year in Paris but, for now, a deal seems unlikely to happen.

A world record €222m fee was paid by the Parisians just last summer and they won’t let Neymar go cheaply whether he’s happy there or not.
