Despite having probed both the domestic and foreign markets for a new manager, it appears that Ricardo Peláez and Amaury Vergara are willing to bet on Luis Fernando Tena next season.
According to journalist Alejandro Orvañanos, Tena has the full support of the Chivas board of directors to continue leading the club for the 2020 Clausura.
Orvañanos said: “He has convinced the players and the board likes him too. They believe that the gamble on Tena is correct.”
It’s being reported that the 61-year-old has already approved Peláez’s decision to go after Uriel Antuna, Alexis Peña, Cristian Calderón, and Jesús Angulo in the upcoming window.
Tena has been in charge of Chivas for a total of seven matches in all competitions, posting a record of three wins, two draws, and two losses.
