Speaking to Téléfoot this morning, Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luís Campos spoke about the failed loan deal for Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech (29), which fell through at the last minute due to the Premier League side filing the wrong paperwork several times for the move .

We had the player with us, we had done everything,” began the former Lille and current Celta Vigo advisor. “But as with all transfers, you need all three parties to work well.”

In this case it worked very well for Paris Saint-Germain, it also worked well with Ziyech,” added Campos, who then addressed the elephant in the room as to Chelsea’s role in the transfer. “Unfortunately, it didn’t work well for the last party (Chelsea),” said the advisor, put in polite terms to say the least.

Ziyech’s move on loan to PSG from Chelsea looked to have been all but completed. The Moroccan international was already at the club’s headquarters having arrived prior to deadline day, and he had undergone a medical ahead of the move. However, the deal fell through due to multiple administrative errors on Chelsea’s part, sending the contract unsigned on two occasions to PSG, with the third attempt too late to seal the transfer in time.
