Lucien Agoume will officially become an Inter player today when the midfielder signs a three-year contract for the Nerazzurri, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The 17-year-old arrived in Milan on Friday morning to undergo a medical and put pen to paper on his new deal.

Inter have signed the former Sochaux man for €4.5 million and will give the Ligue 2 club an unspecified percentage of any future transfer fee.

Agoume has made 11 appearances for France’s under-17 side and played 15 matches for Sochaux last season, as they finished 16th in France’s second tier.

Inter have spent most of this month looking to sell their brightest academy talents in a bid to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

Agoume’s arrival demonstrates the club are still fully committed to their youth system, though, which has provided prestigious results in recent years.

The French youngster will take part in preseason training under Antonio Conte but could be left to play with the Primavera thereafter.
