Italy head coach Luciano Spalletti was recently asked to comment about the difficult situation reigning in the Italian capital.
In an interview with La Domenica Sportiva, Spalletti weighed in on Paulo Dybala and his future.
“Everyone knows Dybala by now: he is a player who can make an entire team click,” he said.
“He has this technique and relationality with the entire team. He has quality every time the ball comes to his foot, he is confident with the goal in front of him. He just lacks a bit of structure and physicality, but he is a top player.”
“Should Roma keep him? Yes, a team that has to build a strong mentality should keep players like him.”
“Pellegrini? Probably the situation that Roma is experiencing does not help him, he is a player who has qualities and should develop them well in a different context.”
“The verdict is still out on him,” he added.
