AS report that Lucas Vázquez has rejected the opportunity to move to Qatar and has opted to fulfil the remaining year of his contract with Real Madrid.
Zidane sees Vázquez as a fundamental squad player. Last season he was deployed as a right-winger in a 4-3-3, as a holding midfielder in a 4-4-2 and also at right-back. The 29-year-old’s contract runs until 2021.
