Lucas Vázquez commits with new long-term Real Madrid deal

Lucas Vázquez has ended any doubt about his Real Madrid future by signing a new long-term contract at the club.

It looked like the versatile winger would depart this summer after 14 years at the club with his current deal expiring at the end of June.

But the club have now announced that Vázquez will remain, having signed new terms until the summer of 2024.

Aside from a season-long loan at Espanyol, the entirety of the 29-year-old’s career has been spent at the Santiago Bernabéu.
