In a move widely reported by the media, and even his own father, Uruguay’s Lucas Torreira has finally confirmed himself that he will be joining Arsenal after the World Cup is over.

“Is it true that Arsenal wanted to do the medical tests during the World Cup and you decided against it?” he was asked after the match, before responding:
“Yes, it is true. I didn’t want to think of anything other than the national team. Now that I have time, my future will be clear soon.”
