The Times reports that Atlético have put around £5m on the table to sign Robertson. That puts Liverpool in a strange position.
On the one hand, that's nowhere near enough money for someone who was a starting player in Liverpool's title-winning team last season. Even with one just one year left, you'd get that kind of value from keeping him around.
The 'problem' is that Liverpool would also save on Robertson's wages if they let him go. They almost certainly won't get value for there as they fully intend for Milos Kerkez to be their starting left-back by the end of the campaign.
