Today we are starting a new series on the lifeblood of this football club – our fans.

Every week, we will be shining a light on our supporters as we find out in their own words what it truly means to Love this City.

We’re starting today with Harvey Ratcliff, from Wythenshawe, who – despite the challenges of living with rare genetic condition Phelan-McDermid Syndrome – follows the team home and away.

The 17-year-old, kept calm and comforted by some blue and white wool that he carries with him at all times, lights up whenever he sees the Manchester City badge or his favourite player Phil Foden.

We feature fans old and young, supporters who watch at home and many who travel away, those who live in the UK and those who follow us from further afield, individuals who go against the generational grain and families who all bleed blue blood.
