Love this City: Anais and Marrais | OneFootball

Coming from Perth, we don’t have too much coming over here so we never really expected to ever meet the [City Women] players, but having the opportunity has been insane.

We had tickets for all the games at the Perth International Cup and made sure we’re there every time.

I think it’s quite incredible to see City play because obviously you see it all the time on the screen. But we’ve never really had the opportunity to see them play here so it’s very nice.

I’m going to have to say my favourite City memory of all time is the other night with Viv Miedema coming on and scoring the final penalty against Leicester.

I’m a big Viv fan so I thought that was pretty crazy for her to come in and instantly score in her first game.

Yeah, we’re big fans of Viv.

I started watching City because I really loved Lucy Bronze, so I’ve been following teams who Bronze was playing for.

And I started supporting at pretty much the same time when Kiera Walsh was there as well so watching that was kind of where it started I guess.

I watch the matches usually pretty late at night considering the time difference so quite late in the holidays usually just by myself.

Yeah we’ll be like in our beds but then we’ll be texting each other updates and reactions.
