Swansea City are reportedly chasing Louis van Gaal after sacking Paul Clement earlier this week.
The Welsh club are supposedly eager to appoint a coach with Premier League experience as they hope to fend off relegation. Having won just three of their 18 games so far this season, the Swans are bottom of the Premier League table.
Van Gaal claims to have rejected Bayer Leverkusen in the summer and has been out of work since he was sacked by Manchester United in May 2016.
However, the Dutchman recently admitted a Premier League offer could tempt him back into the dugout.
“I said I will probably not manage a club any more. I would make one exception. If a big English club comes for me, I would do it. Because then I can get the chance to get one over Manchester United.”
Well Louis, this may be your chance!
Fellow Dutchmen Ronald Koeman and Frank de Boer have also been linked with the job as Swansea, presumably, hope to return to the possession-based style of football that helped them gain a foothold in the Premier League when they were first promoted in 2011.
