Louis Mafouta has officially left Amiens SC to join En Avant Guingamp this Tuesday, August 5, 2025. The 31-year-old Central African international striker has signed with the Breton club until 2028, embracing a new challenge in Ligue 2.
The Central African forward is turning a page and opening a new one. After two seasons with Amiens SC, Louis Mafouta has decided to embark on a new adventure, but he remains in French Ligue 2. He has joined En Avant Guingamp for the next three seasons. His arrival at the Breton club was made official just a few hours ago.
"I am very happy to join the Guingamp family, it's a new challenge for me. I hope we will get the job done and achieve the club's objectives, which are good ones. We don't mess around with hard work, we're going to work relentlessly and make all Guingamp supporters proud," he said upon his arrival.
Mafouta strengthens Guingamp's attacking line with his wealth of Ligue 2 experience. During his time in Picardy, he featured in 70 matches across all competitions, netting 27 goals and providing 5 assists. These numbers made him Amiens SC’s top scorer over the past two seasons—a record that convinced the Breton club to recruit him.
