Claudio Lotito has closed the door on the possibility of seeing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic join Juventus.

The 27-year-old Serbian is currently contracted to Lazio until 2024 and his deal won’t be renewed, meaning the club are preparing to cash in on the star midfielder this summer in order to fund their squad overhaul. Milinkovic-Savic has had a great season under Maurizio Sarri and is ready for the jump.

Making a brief comment to Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Lotito touched on Milinkovic-Savic’s future and the possibility of a move to Juventus.

Sergej is not for sale and will certainly not join Juventus.

Juventus reported to be discussing a swap deal with Lazio

Despite his suggestion that Milinkovic-Savic is not on the market, it’s obvious that Lazio are preparing to sell the 27-year-old, with both Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United keen. Lotito is hoping to generate around €65-70 million from his sale.

Milinkovic-Savic has made 36 Serie A appearances this season, for a total of 3019 minutes. In that time, he’s scored 11 goals and provided 11 assists.
