Losing Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez this summer could bring nearly €20 million in gross savings to Inter, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter will be able to free up some manoeuvrability in the transfer market when they offload the Chilean duo of Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez.
They both have one year left on their contracts but they are amongst the highest earners in the squad and the Nerazzurri do not wish to pay them for another season.
Arturo Vidal is set to join Brazilian side Flamengo in the summer whilst an agreement will need to be found regarding severance pay to break the contract of Alexis Sanchez.
Altogether Inter could free up around €20 million gross which will allow them to address other areas in the squad that require attention. The new signings will certainly be on lower wages.
