LOSC Lille has successfully emerged victorious in the hotly-contested race to secure the signature of Moroccan international striker, Hamza Igamane.

The protracted negotiations have now reached a triumphant conclusion, with the French club making the acquisition official through an announcement on its website. The 22-year-old centre-forward has committed his long-term future to Les Dogues, putting pen to paper on a substantial five-year contract that will see him remain at the club until the summer of 2030. The deal, a significant show of faith in the young talent, represents an investment of approximately €12 million.

What did Igamane say after signing with his new team?

Following the official announcement, the Moroccan striker expressed his enthusiasm, stating:

"I am thrilled to be signing for such a massive club with a fantastic sporting project. I hope to answer it in the best way possible on the pitch. The LOSC is not a club like the others; it has a great history and has won many trophies.Every season, it competes in European competitions. I would also add that Lille is a very beautiful city. I am going to give everything on the field to help the team win and finish as high as possible."
