Bournemouth-bound FC Lorient striker Dango Ouattara (20) will undergo his medical with the Cherries as early as Thursday, sealing his €27.5m move,Foot Mercato as well as L’Équipe are reporting. Two days ago, an agreement was reached between the Brittany outfit and the seventeenth-placed Premier League side for the Merlus man, who has impressed this season in Ligue 1 with six goals and six assists in 17 appearances. Ouest-France reported that Ouattara was absent for this Wednesday’s training session.

Both Everton and Leicester City were in the fray to sign the striker, with the Toffees submitting a €20m offer for the Burkinabé youngster. However, it looks as though the acquisition of a 33% minority stake in Lorient by Bournemouth’s American owner Bill Foley has somewhat progressed the deal in the Cherries’ favour. Bournemouth are looking to sign FC Lorient playmaker Enzo Le Fée but, as Get French Football News report, the 22-year-old in uninterested in the move.
