Lorenzo De Silvestri spoke following the game: “It’s the end of a season that brought us together and created an incredible group with the staff, club and fans. The Coach has been an integral part of this, he has given us much advice and helped us grow. His choice should be respected, he has been honest with us, we went over the whole season, some of us spoke and we embraced him. It’s been an extraordinary season and we can look to the future with faith: the Coach leaves us with an important identity to our game, we have a solid club behind us and we are a group with mature players and men who are together off the pitch. As far as I go, it’s my idea to continue, obviously, I have to speak to the club: we’ll see”.
