A long-time transfer target on the part of La Liga giants Real Madrid looks all set to take his talents to England, with Manchester City.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Vitor Reis as the player in question.
Reis has for his part long seen his name prove a prominent one in the transfer headlines in Spain’s capital.
This comes after the 18-year-old was earmarked as a leading option to reinforce the heart of Real Madrid’s backline for the long-term.
Reis is widely considered to be a potential star in the making, boasting a whole host of standout traits despite his tender years.
In turn, the latest word stemming from the media on Thursday afternoon will no doubt mark a source of concern for Florentino Pérez and co.
This comes amid confirmation that the young stopper is on the verge of a move to Premier League champions Manchester City.
As per a report from Fabrizio Romano:
‘Manchester City have agreed on personal terms with Vitor Reis and his agent, contract ready and green light from 18 yo centre back! Negotiations underway to close the deal with Palmeiras around €40m, progress being made fast to avoid more clubs bidding.’
