In recent years, the Flamengo academy have been producing quite a number of young talents that have made their way over to Europe.
19-year-old Lincoln has been tipped with a future European switch for some time now and that move may come sooner rather than later.
According to GloboEsporte, Lokomotiv Moscow have been in touch with Lincoln’s representatives and declared they will put together a bid for the player this summer.
The Flamengo board have yet to receive an official proposal but will be open to selling the player, especially given the current situation.
The young striker was set to have a decent impact this season, however, with the arrivals of Michael and Pedro, Lincoln is now very much grasping for straws.
Despite already having 40 first-team appearances and five goals under his belt, Lincoln has only played five minutes of football in 2020.
Last year, Flamengo rejected a €15m bid from Juventus. In January, both Red Bull Bragantino and Serie A side Sassuolo were said to be interested in the player as well.
Lincoln’s current deal runs until 2023 and has a €45m release clause for foreign clubs.
