Bologna have reportedly been in contact with representatives from Ligue 1 side Toulouse to discuss the price tag for centre-back Logan Costa, who the Rossoblu are targeting as a replacement for Italy international Riccardo Calafiori.
There is still no agreement between the two clubs yet, but intermediaries continue to work on the deal.
Reports from Gianluca Di Marzio suggest that the clubs are discussing a price tag somewhere between the figures of €15m and €18m, but Bologna and Toulouse are yet to meet in the middle.
Saturday’s report claims that there is an agreement in place with the player over a potential four-year contract. Costa has reportedly decided that Bologna will be his next move.
The Saint-Denis born 23-year-old made 23 appearances in Ligue 1 last season, but missed a chunk of the season while he was away with Cape Verde for the Africa Cup of Nations.
Bologna are still on the lookout for a new centre-back after selling Calafiori to Premier League heavyweights Arsenal after his impressive performances at EURO 2024.
