Alex Murphy
It was an afternoon to remember for young Irish defender Murphy on Saturday as his first strike in English football contributed to Bolton Wanderers' remarkable 4-3 home win over Crawley Town in League One.
Bolton were 3-1 down to the side managed by ex-Magpie Rob Elliot when the 20-year-old was played in by a quick free kick and allowed to rifle home a low shot to reduce the deficit.
It was an impressive finish from Murphy, who was then withdrawn with just over 20 minutes remaining of a game that his side would win at the death thanks to a Josh Sheehan effort and a Charlie Barker own goal.
Isaac Hayden
Midfielder Hayden watched on from the sidelines as Portsmouth were beaten 2-1 by promotion-chasing Sheffield United in the Championship.
Miodrag Pivaš
Pivaš didn't make it off the bench for Willem II on Saturday night, although his side did earn a creditable 1-1 draw at PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie.
Charlie McArthur
Under new management in Mark Hughes, McArthur lined up at left back for Carlisle United at Grimsby Town on Saturday. It was a difficult 90 minutes for the Scottish defender, though, as the struggling Blues blew an early lead in their eventual 2-1 defeat which leaves them rooted to the foot of League Two.
Joe White
White missed out on MK Dons' 1-0 home defeat to Bromley in League Two through injury.
Travis Hernes
The young midfielder, who is on loan at Aalborg BK, played the full 90 minutes in a 4-2 friendly win over Ukranian outfit LNZ Cherkasy in Spain on Friday.
James Huntley
Huntley joined Spennymoor Town on loan at the end of the January transfer window, but remained on the bench for the entirety of his new side's impressive 2-0 win at Hereford in the National League North.
