It is time to take a look again at how our Red Bulls are getting on at their loan clubs. We have a total of 14 loan players (nine of which are outside of Austria) spread out around the world at other clubs. From Austria to the Netherlands and Brazil - we are looking at all of their fortunes in our loan player radar.
Inni battled his way into the first team of the Italian top-fight side in the autumn, but he has suffered muscular problems since. Just before the international break, he made his comeback as a substitute against AC Milan. The Belgian can now look forward to more playing time under Cesc Fabregas in the coming weeks.
100 percent is the proud number of starts Kamil has claimed in the Turkish league. The Pole has made seven league appearances for Kasimpasa since going on loan in the winter. Three of them have resulted in wins for the Süper Lig club, who have climbed up to tenth in the table.
Right at the start of his six-month loan, Claudio Ranieri sent the French midfielder into his starting line-up – twice. The Romans won both matches with clean sheets, but Lucas has recently not made any appearances and had to watch from the substitutes' bench as Roma continued their winning run.
Having been a regular at the start of the season, the young German missed the majority of the autumn due to injury and lost his first-choice goalkeeping position. In the winter preparation period, Jonas showed what he was capable of again in some friendly matches - but has recently not made the matchday squad.
The loan this spring was all going so well! Luka quickly gained a starting spot at the Dutch second-tier side and then went on a great goalscoring run. The striker had six goal involvements in seven appearances - before Luka suffered a broken collarbone in March to rule him out for the longer term.
It has been a turbulent time in Belgium. Lawrence has seen three different coaches during his time at the first-tier side, and Ferdinand Feldhofer was recently dismissed by the club after just three months. No matter the coach, our midfield specialist has been a regular throughout the season. Cercle Brugge ended the regular season in 13th spot out of 16 teams, and they will therefore contest the play-down round in the coming weeks as they battle to avoid relegation.
Douglas has not quite lived up to his form from last year yet since extending his loan, having featured in the starting line-up at times. The centre-back is yet to make a competitive appearance in 2025 but has been back in the squad at least.
Let's leave Brazil and go to Linz: Soumaila immediately became part of the starting XI in September - and has featured in the entirety of every match since (apart from one encounter he was suspended for)! The 20-year-old from Mali played a big part in the club qualifying for the championship group with his defensive midfield steel. He also provided his first goal contribution with an assist in a 4-1 win over Hartberg at the end of the regular season.
Dijon has experienced some ups and downs in the mountainous west of Austria. His loan started with an injury, and he was unable to completely find his feet in the autumn. The attacking midfielder was injured when the season resumed after the winter break, before making three starts in a row as he picked up his personal form. He ended the regular season with his first goal of the campaign for Altach against Klagenfurt!
Justin made a good start in the autumn and became a regular at Hartberg, only for a thigh injury to rule him out for months. The Austrian youth international returned in the spring but is not yet getting regular playing time.
Raphael then followed him to Hartberg in the winter. He has made two starts already for TSV, but the left-back has had to watch the last three encounters from the substitutes bench.
Having moved in February to Graz, the Salzburg Academy graduate quickly made a few substitute appearances in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga. In a 2-4 defeat against Klagenfurt, he even provided an assist and scored himself. He then started recently against Rapid. It will be exciting to see how he gets on after the international break, as GAK have parted ways with coach Rene Poms as they battle relegation fears.
Nicolo has recently alternated between the Milan U20 squad and the Milan Futuro team, who play in Serie C. The tall striker has started twice recently for the U20 squad and scored against Cagliari.
The striker moved from FC Vaduz to FC Rapperswil-Jona in the winter. At the Swiss third-tier side chasing promotion (in third place currently), Federico is yet to fully break through, appearing in three out of six matches and not yet finding the net.
