Tottenham Hotspur will clash heads with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground this Friday night as they look to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. Spurs managed to secure a dominant 4-1 win over Newcastle United recently which should give them a lot of confidence ahead of this game.

Angelos Postecoglu will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make one change to his first XI for this game. Giovani Lo Celso could get a chance to impress from the start of this game while Richarlison makes way for him and drops to the bench.

Defence

Guglielmo Vicario will feature in between the sticks for the North London club after conceding one goal in his last league appearance. Ben Davies will once again partner up with Cristian Romero at the centre of Tottenham’s defence as they try to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.

Pedro Porro will fill in as the right-back while Destiny Udogie hopes to make a difference on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Emerson Royal will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Postecoglu’s midfield could be comprised of Giovani Lo Celso, Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park. All three of them need to retain possession well so that they can orchestrate some inviting chances in the final third.

Oliver Skipp will have to settle for a place on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Ben Johnson will try to catch the eye on the left flank while Dejan Kulusevski looks to give a good account of himself as the right-sided wide player. Heung-min Son will lead the charge for the North London club in the final third. The South Korea international would be keen on finding the back of the net at the City Ground this week.

Richarlison will be available for selection on the bench.
